AIFirstIndex (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use our diagnostic tools, how we use it, and the choices and rights you have.
Information we collect
- Diagnostic activity. Our diagnostics do not require an account. We store your anonymous answers, timing, and the resulting report so we can show your Weakness Index and improve our questions. This data is not linked to your name or email unless you contact us or create an optional account.
- Optional account data. If you choose to create a free account (never required), we store your email address, an optional display name, and a securely hashed password — never the password itself. Accounts exist only to save your reports and link them to you; we do not sell this information or use it for advertising, and you can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
- Usage & device data. Like most websites, we and our providers may automatically collect standard information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring pages, through cookies and similar technologies.
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to provide.
How we use information
- to operate, maintain, and improve the diagnostics and content;
- to understand aggregate usage and measure performance;
- to display advertising that keeps the Service free;
- to respond to your inquiries and to comply with law.
Cookies & advertising
We use cookies to operate the site and measure traffic. We also display ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate. Analytics data is processed in a de-identified form and helps us improve the Service.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
The Service is intended for high-school students and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Diagnostics are anonymous and require no account; optional accounts are likewise intended for users 13 and older, and we delete any account reported to belong to a child under 13.
Student data (FERPA)
AIFirstIndex is a consumer study tool, not a school service provider, and we do not knowingly collect “education records” as defined by FERPA. If an educator uses the Service with students, they should do so on a voluntary, anonymous basis.
Your US privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. To exercise any right, email contact@aifirstindex.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Residents of other US states with similar laws may exercise comparable rights the same way.
Data retention & security
We retain anonymous diagnostic data only as long as needed for the purposes above and apply reasonable safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Your choices
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can use the diagnostics without providing any personal information.
