Why a diagnostic beats another practice test
| Traditional practice tests | AIFirstIndex Diagnostic |
|---|---|
| Give only a score (e.g. 600/800). | Shows which micro-topic is weak (e.g. Systems of equations — 38%). |
| Require a full 3-hour sitting. | Pinpoints gaps in a focused 15–30 minute session. |
| Leave you guessing why you missed a question. | Gives a worked explanation for every single question. |
| Treat every gap as equally important. | Ranks gaps by estimated score impact (“fixing this is worth ~50 pts”) and generates a 7-day action plan. |
| Can't tell a lucky guess from real knowledge. | Blind Spot Detector: tag your guesses and see what you think you know vs what you actually know. |

A preview of your report
This is the full Weakness Index every diagnostic ends with — shown here with sample data. While other tools stop at topic level, we drill down to the exact sub-skill.
🥇 Fix these first — estimated score impact
- 1Systems of two linear equations(33%)+~40 pts
- 2Quadratic equations(50%)+~35 pts
- 3Probability(50%)+~20 pts
🎯 Blind Spot Detector
6 answers you were confident about were wrong — mostly in Quadratic equations. That's where re-learning matters most.
📊 Micro-topic breakdown (17 topics scored — 5 shown)
Not just “systems are weak” — specifically, substitution is the problem.
📅 Your 7-day action plan
- Day 1–2 · Master Systems of two linear equations (+~40 pts)
- Day 3–4 · Strengthen Quadratic equations (+~35 pts)
- Day 5 · Patch Probability (+~20 pts)
- Day 6 · Accuracy drill for careless slips
- Day 7 · Retake & compare your Weakness Index

The Digital SAT Math syllabus, explained
The Digital SAT Math section is organized into four content domains. Understanding how they are weighted helps you prioritize your prep. The Algebra domain is the largest, covering linear equations in one and two variables, linear functions, systems of linear equations, and linear inequalities. Mastering these fundamentals is the fastest way to raise a Math score because the concepts reappear throughout the test.
The Advanced Math domain moves into nonlinear relationships: quadratic equations, exponential functions, polynomials, and rational expressions. The Problem-Solving & Data Analysis domain tests ratios, rates, percentages, probability, and interpreting data from tables and graphs — skills that reward careful reading as much as computation. Finally, the Geometry & Trigonometry domain covers area and volume, angles, triangles, circles, and right-triangle trigonometry.
Because the Digital SAT is adaptive, your performance on the first module determines the difficulty of the second. That makes early accuracy on high-frequency Algebra topics especially valuable. A micro-topic diagnostic tells you exactly which of these areas to reinforce first, so your limited study time goes where it moves the needle most.

Frequently asked questions
Is the SAT diagnostic really 100% free?
Yes. Every diagnostic test and Weakness Index report is completely free. There is no sign-up, no credit card, and no paywall to see your results.
How long does a diagnostic session take?
A full section diagnostic is 30–40 adaptive questions and takes about 25–35 minutes. Prefer something shorter? A focused single-domain check is about 15 minutes. There is no time pressure, and you get an instant report either way.
Is this aligned with the official College Board Digital SAT?
Our micro-topics follow the official domain structure of both Digital SAT sections — Math (Algebra, Advanced Math, Problem-Solving & Data Analysis, Geometry & Trigonometry) and Reading & Writing (Craft & Structure, Information & Ideas, Standard English Conventions, Expression of Ideas). All questions are original and written for diagnostic use — we do not reproduce official SAT questions.
Do I need to create an account to see my results?
No. Your session is anonymous. As soon as you finish the questions, your Weakness Index report appears with a color-coded breakdown and worked explanations for every question.
